Top of Roan Mountain on the AT. I forgot gloves, and ended up having to take my socks off to protect my cold little hands. I did not prep well. Or watch the weather channel. Or account for altitude.

On the AT headed North, right before getting into Damascus, VA. Trotting for beer! It’s about 3 miles straight down into the city.

Buzzard Rock on the AT. Don’t ask me where that is, VA maybe? NC? And we could not figure out which rock was actually “the” buzzard rock.
